Some great circle work from Emily (GS) however contact from behind gave Cowie a penalty advantage. Atomics scored however is was disallowed for contact, after a few attempt at goal, Atomics scored their 2nd goal from smooth and well held passes straight down to circle. The Defence team of Anna and Helen continued to work very well together, showing a strong Atomic Defence with good stretches from Anna and interceptions from both players.

The Atomics side showed a greater confidence and determination straight from the whistle, with a goal soon after, with a 2nd and 3rd goal following quickly behind the confidence grew. An exciting and pace paced quarter showed more possession, less penalties and more communication between players. A further 2 goals in quarter showed the improvement Atomics have made in what would be only their 3rd league match since creation of team.
